A fragile treasure from the past, the Faison Home and its contents require vigilant care and preservation. The Faison Preservation Society is dedicated to this task so that visitors can gain a deeper understanding of their past and their identity as Texans. We welcome your help in saving this jewel for future generations. Individuals, groups, and businesses recognize the cultural and economic value of maintaining this historic structure as a tourist destination and source of community pride.

About the Faison Preservation Society

The Faison Preservation Society continues and honors the efforts of the La Grange Garden Club members who rescued the home from its “ghost house” condition in the early 1960s.  Garden Club women labored tirelessly to renovate the home and raise money through rummage and bake sales.
