TEXAS TEA AND SWING!

Do you need to get out of the Big City for a while?

Well, come out to the rural life on Saturday, March 8, 2025

And we’ll show you a good time in La Grange TX

Attend a Texas tea party in a historic home

  • you will hear about the family who lived there in 1850-1950
  • what women did for fun back then
  • dress in your favorite Texas summer party attire

We will take you to the courthouse square in small town Texas for the Farmer’s Market, shopping boutiques, coffee and wine cafes, all in old buildings with views of slower life passing by. Then exhibits, food tasting and a “groovy” drink.

But wait – we’re not done. You’re just in time to go to the Best Little Cowboy Gathering. We will listen to some Texas Swing played by Billy Mata and any fiddler who happens to come to the stage.

Oh, and DANCING! Texas is all about the dancehall.
